CARERS SUPPORT GROUPS

A welcoming space for carers to connect, share, and feel supported.

Caring for someone after a stroke can be rewarding, but it can also feel isolating and emotionally demanding. This group offers time and space just for you.

You will be welcomed into a relaxed and understanding environment where you can meet others who truly understand the challenges of being a carer.

What To Expect:

This group is led by carers, for carers. There is no set agenda provided, allowing conversations to flow naturally based on what people need to talk about on the day.

The group is informal and friendly. There is no pressure to speak if you don’t want to — you can simply listen, share, or take part when you feel ready.

The group provides:

  • Peer support from others in similar situations

  • A safe space to talk openly

  • Emotional understanding and shared experiences

  • Time away from daily caring responsibilities

A calm, outdoor space for carers to relax, connect, and recharge.

The Carers Garden Group offers a peaceful break from everyday routines. It is a chance to spend time outdoors, meet others, and enjoy gentle conversation in a relaxed setting.

This group is designed to support wellbeing through nature, connection, and shared understanding.

What To Expect:

This is a gentle and informal group. There is no pressure to take part in activities — you can simply enjoy the space and the company of others.

The group offers:
