ONLINE CHAIR BASED EXERCISES
Build strength, stamina, and confidence from home in a safe and supportive environment.
This chair-based exercise group is designed for people affected by stroke who would like to improve movement, increase activity levels, build stamina, and support their overall wellbeing.
All exercises are done seated and are suitable for different abilities.
You can join from your iPad, tablet, or computer.

What To Expect:
Sessions are positive, structured, and supportive. You will be guided through exercises designed to help improve strength, mobility, stamina, and overall activity levels.
Each session includes:

A warm-up

Upper body cardio
-
Strength exercises using resistance bands or household items

A simple aerobic section
-
A cool down
For strength exercises, you can use light hand weights such as a bottle of water or a tin of food.
You will also need a tea towel for part of the session.

The group opens at 10:50am for optional social time.

Joining The Session
The Zoom session link will be sent by email the day before the group.
Katie will contact you before your first session to complete a simple registration form.

You do not need to join WhatsApp to take part in the group.
